WHAT
Boring Social Club is a community craft and social experience built around the growing loss of connection in a hyper-connected world. We get together at breweries and venues across Vancouver to make things and meet people.
WHERE
Based in Vancouver, BC.
WHY
Because building community is important. And our brain health is important. And being offline is a luxury.
The Extras
I read once that artists and scientists are the worlds observers - their job is to notice what others don't.
Outside of Boring Social Club, I am a data scientist. Art and science have always made up who I am. I can be technical, I can solve problems, I can be extremely meticulous. But I can also see art in everything, I can create what I feel, what I experience, what I dream, what I notice. There isn't one side without the other.
